Our school, The/Kin/Darussalam  Maha Vidyalayam is a school. The school was founded in 1864. At that time there were three assistants with 43 students under the head mistress. The school is located in 10 acres in Mullipothana area.

Around 6 principal had been changed from 1964 to till now.

• Our first principal's name is Mr Abdul Raseem he was born in Kinniya He was in our school for 7 years.
• The second Principal's name is Mr Mohamed Rasaak He was in our school for 10 years .
• The third principal's name is Mr Abdul Sarabdeen. He was in our school for 10 years .
• The fourth principal's name is Mr Abdul Nasar. He was in our school for 10 years .
• The fifth principal's name is Mr Mansoor Ali he was in our school for 9 years.
• The sixth principal's name is Mr Amanullah heais still in our school.

In this building which was functioning as a weaving industry since 1964, on 12th February.

Thus, our school, The/Kin/Darussalam maha vidyalayam, thanks to the service of many principals and teachers, has provided many lithologists, doctors, engineers, lawyers, social workers and common people of the country to the society.

Today it is a 1st grade school with nearly 600 students in Kurinjakeni district in Kinniya zone.
